Account Broker, Gloucestershire – Salary £17,000 - £20,000
Insurance broking and risk management consultancy is looking to recruit an Account Broker to assist with increased business. The client is a friendly, team orientated organisation, focused on delivering a first class service to corporate clients, as well as government and public entities. Often described as a "niche" or "boutique" insurance advisor.
Duties include:
• Negotiation with current insurers and seeking alternative quotations for renewal of existing business including confirmation of quotations
• Marketing of new business to obtain most appropriate cover at competitive terms to secure the business including written confirmation of quotations
• Day to day client administration including response to telephone queries, dealing with incoming post, faxes and e-mails
• Maintenance of Sectornet records, production of debit notes and schedules
• Production and maintenance of client registers
• Production and issue of client documentation including policy schedules, cover notes, EL Certificates
• Liaison with Account Executives to keep them informed of all relevant issues
• Direct contact with specified clients where Account Executive not appointed
• Resolving Accounts queries with Accounts Team
• Maintenance of own Continuous Professional Development Records to comply with FSA
• requirements
• Completion of Cll Ed-Assess assignments to set time scales
• General file administration
• Assistance on KRS Marketing initiatives as required
