Finance Administrator - Maternity cover - £16,000

Our Cheltenham based client is looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to carry our control and bank reconciliations to strict deadlines.

Key duties:

Deliver consistent and complete banking reconciliations and associated financial recording in line with both internal and client SLA's
Provide a high quality customer focused service
Support culture in which change and delivery excellence is the norm.
Maintaining an appropriate level of technical knowledge
Receiving and handling customer queries effectively
Support Reassessment of task timings as directed by the Team Leader/ to ensure efficiencies and accuracy of AHT
Ensure all client communication is escalated via the appropriate Points of Contact (internal and external)
Ensure all processes comply with the standards specified by the FSA, in particular the Principles of Business, Systems and Controls, Statement of Principles, Code of Business Sourcebook and the other Codes of Conduct and that staff (in particular the Overseers) also understand and comply with these.
Ensure all controls are adhered to for defined teams, to negate legislative and financial exposure
Assess and ensure that all Issues and Risks are reported in relation to the service.
Ensure full compliance for SAS70
Take ownership for self-development and maintain personal development records to ensure appropriate skills and knowledge are maintained to meet objectives
