Perform the daily/weekly/monthly/yearly reconciliation process in order to maintain financial control
Key Accountabilities:
• Complete tasks within agreed targets, enabling team to achieve its objectives.
• Ensure all work is undertaken according to documented procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure finance & reconciliation controls are adhered to. In order to provide a high quality, customer focused service.
• Provide weekly/monthly management information.
• Challenge existing systems, processes and controls to improve efficiency, quality and service.
• Display an understanding of business critical deadlines to prioritise your work.
• Display initiative and flexibility in order to exceed customer expectations.
• Communication must be clear and concise, in line with corporate client standards.
• Display corporate values and behaviours, working with colleagues effectively to achieve common goals.
• Take ownership for self-development/progression.
• Provide and receive desk-side training.

Entry Criteria
• Understanding of accounting processes and procedures
• Previous experience of accounts reconciliations, especially bank accounts
• Deal effectively with internal & external clients by phone, email & fax
• Good levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good analysis and problem solving skills
• Good knowledge of Excel and Word with ability to manipulate spreadsheets
• Working knowledge of life and pensions would be advantageous
• Solid written skills
