My client, a well established Building Society, is currently seeking a Branch Manager to join their team.
This is a hands on role where you will be involved in every aspect of life in the Branch from Operations to managing your team through to Business Development, identifying opportunities within the Branch and the local community.
Responsible for the achievement of branch sales and high standards of customer service
Ensure the branch operates in a compliant and efficient way through the development of an effective highly performing team
Support the Area Development Manager and peers in the business area
Develop and motivate the branch staff to succeed and exceed branch targets
Ensure effective administration in all areas and full compliance with Society audit requirements
Sales experience, preferably with supervisory experience in a financial services environment
Educated to 5 GCSE level standard or equivalent (or above), desirable to be educated to A Level standard or equivalent
Good leadership skills and the ability to inspire and influence the performance of a Branch sales team
CeMap qualified desirable if not, candidates must be CeMap qualified within 12 months of joining the company
Salary £25,000 + monthly and annual bonus
Monday – Friday 9 – 5 and 22 Saturdays a year from 9 - 1
