Channel Account Manager 70k OTE!

This is a newly created role and as such you will have an opportunity to make it your own! Though you will be required to draw on your natural energy, professionalism and enthusiasm to help the team to drive change within the business.

The successful candidates will be required to develop a network of Value Added Channel partners and assist in making the Channel Partner Programme best in class. The role will require you to take ownership of revenue generation through growing and managing the existing Channel as well as working closely with the Sales Director to recruit a new channel to support the business objectives.

Responsibilities will include:

Work closely with the sales and marketing directors as well as the internal sales manager to continuously develop the channel programme and engagement methods
Build and manage multi-level relationships within your channels to ensure strategic alignment so our partnerships are operating as effectively as possible
Establish and define a value chain with each channel partner which always ensures we are collaboratively relevant to the end user.
Deliver against revenue and KPI targets.
Liaise with all appropriate contacts both internally and externally to ensure that negotiations and deals progress smoothly. Contacts will include: Marketing, Internal Sales, Support and Technical Consultants.
Being field based you will need to regularly work from your channels offices as well as supporting them with end user visits where appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have extensive channel sales experience ideally gained at vendor level within either an *aas or IT/Software and services environment and the ability to demonstrate consistent overachievement against sales targets. You will understand a value chain and how to ensure relevance.

This role is home based but will require UK wide travel
