SharePoint 2010 Developer
Our client based on the outskirts of Cheltenham has a truly global presence with over 4000 employees spread across the globe. As part of their iShare project they have an urgent requirement for a SharePoint 2010 contractor for around 6 months to drive departmental adoption by assembling/developing/deploying Solutions.
The ideal candidate will champion the company wide use of SharePoint, have previous experience deploying SharePoint solutions and above all have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally a Microsoft Certified Professional Developer technical skill set should include Web Developer 4, ASP .NET Developer 4, Visual Studio 2010 and SharePoint Developer 2010
In addition the following would be preferable;
• A sound understanding of formal Software Development Methodologies
e.g. Waterfall, agile, MS Solutions Framework
• Experience deploying SharePoint Solutions - Features, Web Parts, Libraries, Lists, Pages - using InfoPath Designer, Visual Studio and SharePoint Designer (all 2010 versions)
• Specific experience developing SharePoint-based Workflows
• Experience with SQL - Services, Analytics, Integration
• Proficient in XHTML/CSS/XSL
• Proven experience writing Documentation – both Functional and non-Functional Requirements
