£27,000 + bonus + benefits

Our client is a leading global provider of equipment and systems that contribute to quality enhancement and cost efficiency within the healthcare sector.

They are looking to recruit a Quality Controller in the Technical Department to develop and implement Service Quality Systems for ISO standards including regular internal and external audit.

The role will report to Assistant Manager - Technical Compliance and will be based in Gloucestershire.

Key Tasks:
1.To ensure ISO 9001:2000 certification is maintained for Division
2.To carry out Service and supplier Quality Management System audits as required, identifying and recording non- conformances to ensure standards are understood and adhered to
3.To maintain Company audit programme ensuring audits carried out by competent personnel
4.To liaise closely with and regularly audit Service suppliers to ensure quality requirements are met
5.To provide information on key performance indicators to ensure improvements are recorded and monitored
6.To arrange and conduct Process Validations as requested or identified during Project Team Meetings
7.To carry out Lead Auditor duties and to maintain knowledge of all quality standards ISO 9001:2008 within Service
8.To maintain knowledge of UK Service Quality Procedures and manuals reviewing and amending as required
9.To carry out audit duties for ISO 4001 and OHSAS 18001 when requested by the Health and Safety and Environmental Co-ordinator Manager
10.To report deviations to Technical Compliance Manager and ensure corrective action taken to resolve any issues

Requirements:
• Knowledge of Quality Process requirements
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Policies
• Attention to detail and an organised approach are required
• Conversant with ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007
