What does Mike do?
Mike started his career in Accountancy with Royal Worcester Spode before moving to MSF (Countrywide Farmers) in management accounting and credit management roles, managing a large team of staff. This hands-on knowledge has proved invaluable in understanding customers’ needs.
Recruitment experience over 16 years spans qualified and non-qualified staff across industry, practice and not-for-profit sectors throughout the entire West Midlands. Eager to offer a more tailored service to clients and break away from the large company culture Mike co-founded GB Solutions with Paul in 1999.
What's Mike like?
Mike is an avid sports fan supporting Worcester Warriors, Worcestershire County Cricket Club and Worcester City FC, which goes down well in Gloucestershire!
What does Mike do out of work?
Mike lives in Worcester with his wife, two children and varying number of pets. Actively involved in community events: Mike is a Founder and Trustee of Norton Community Games registered charity, spent several years as Chair of Governors at the local school, currently coaches a junior cricket team, football team and plays in a local skittles league, which is really just a cover for going to the pub midweek.
Mike is passionate about career coaching and has links with schools and colleges, offering career advice to young people about to embark upon their careers.
