As a highly-motivated and results orientated manager within the manufacturing sector, this candidate has a proven track record of providing exemplary levels of service to a broad range of customers, both internal and external.
With over 25 years of experience across Manufacturing, Operational, Strategic Marketing and Compliance with a strong ethos in leading and improving team’s performance through fair and clear direction, is now looking for a new challenge where they can use this experience to have a positive impact.

Key skills:
· Managing and prioritisation of team objectives on a daily, monthly and longer term
· Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma qualified (Green Belt)
· Running SMED, Kaizen, 5S and DMAIC events and projects
· Setting KPI measures, and ensuring SLA targets are met across delivery, quality and yield
· Monitoring and allocating the team budget – currently circa £280,000 PA – to ensure all functions maintain acceptable performance levels
· Coaching and mentoring of staff, both direct reports and peers
· Proficient in Agile Project management, in both Product Owner and Scrum Master roles
· Ensuring production targets are met and planning and implementing solutions when appropriate
· Ensuring customer enquiries and issues are dealt with in a timely manner and to the correct level when they are escalated to me, ensuring that the resolution decision is clearly communicated to the team to prevent repetition
· Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to see the customers view as well as the businesses requirements
