GB Solutions welcomes Sue Waters to the team
The GB Solutions team are very excited to welcome their latest consultant, Sue Waters. Sue is joining the GB Marketing division as In-house Marketing Recruitment Specialist; working alongside GB’s Director Paul Blower.
To get to know Sue a little better we asked her some questions about herself:
What will your role be at GB Solutions?
Joining the company with an extensive marketing background, my aim is to add value to the GB Marketing division by developing the in-house marketing arm across the UK.
What did you do prior to joining GB Solutions?
After studying languages at Reading University I joined Boots UK as a Management Trainee. I became a Buyer and then worked with Sainsbury’s and Homebase to develop their own label products and buy branded goods. I have worked abroad, initially in trade marketing with Philip Morris in Switzerland and then as a Marketing & Communications Manager with the Charleston Group in the USA.
Having moved back to the UK with my young family I have been involved with voluntary and charity work.
What were your first impressions of the team at GB Solutions?
In an old fashioned way the team at GB clearly get a kick out of doing a good job. Everyone gets fired up about finding the best candidates, fulfilling the needs of their clients and making the perfect match. The office is a welcoming and friendly place – and I hope to improve the standard of coffee!
What does the future at GB Solutions hold for you?
GB Solutions has impressive plans for expansion in a market that is absolutely buzzing. I’m very excited to be a part of this.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I live on the family farm in Monmouthshire. When not counting sheep I am a keen walker, swimmer and member of the local book/wine club.
Tell us two unusual/interesting things about yourself?
Ever up for a challenge, I regularly take part in the Black Mountain Challenge and I am currently training for the Three Peaks next year.
We hope that you will join us in welcoming Sue and wishing her all the best on her new job!
