We are delighted to be representing a long-standing client who is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their Finance team on a fixed term contract running until the end of this year with possible extension.
The successful Accounts Payable Clerk will support the Accounts Payable Manager, ensuring processes are followed according to company guidelines. You will be responsible for maintaining close working relationships with internal departments, as well as external providers. The role of Accounts Payable Clerk is varied, involving processing, maintaining records and ad hoc duties as required.
To be considered for the position of Accounts Payable Clerk you must have solid experience in a similar role and have the relevant system experience (SAP and OCR).
- Processing invoices
- Credit notes processing
- Debit balances
- Periodic close and reconciliations
- Filing and archiving documents
- Ad hoc duties as required within the Accounts Payable team
- Experience in a similar role within a busy accounts team, preferably 2 years
- Italian or French language skills are essential
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Good knowledge of SAP and OCR
