Business Development Manager
£25000 – £28000 + commission + benefits
Following a period of growth through Covid-19, our client, an expert in their field is looking to recruit a focussed and target driven Business Development Manager to increase and further develop a portfolio of clients.
The Business Development Manager will achieve this through the use of an e-commerce platform which has been successfully integrated in to the business.
You will be responsible for the delivery of new and existing channels to grow the business and communicate with existing customers to maximise opportunities.
- Putting together business development plans using already gathered customer data.
- Identify, develop and qualify target industry sectors and prospective companies to approach and uncover potential revenue streams
- Hit your individual objectives whilst equally contributing to the business goals and targets in terms of revenue and profitability
- Build a sales pipeline, closing the sale, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Develop, grow and maintain existing accounts
- Input and keep CRM up to date with all actions carried out and proposed actions.
Communicate with relevant internal teams about other business opportunities
- Excellent account management experience and customer service
- Confident communicator at all levels both written and oral
- Proven experience of achieving targeted sales and building a pipeline
- Able to grasp product information and details quickly
- Self-motivated, hardworking and highly organised
