We’re working with an innovative company that helps enterprises unlock the potential of technology, from government departments to global tech companies. Their cyber innovation team is also building a connected cybersecurity ecosystem, so it’s an exciting time to join this forward-thinking company.

They are seeking a Business Support Manager to work collaboratively with the innovation services team, to deliver cross-competency projects, including; research activity, innovation consulting, and programme delivery.

The appointed Business Support Manager will engage with stakeholders, including start-ups, scaleups, corporations, government, non-profit organisations, investors, and academia.

The role is fast-paced, interesting, and challenging. So the successful Business Support Manager will need to be able to multi-task and manage their own workload.



  • Undertake quantitative analysis, market research, and data collection
  • Engage with high-growth SMEs to understand their needs, challenges, and interventions that will support their growth
  • Design and support the delivery of challenge-led innovation programmes
  • Manage and deliver bespoke business support to scaleups, innovating in cybersecurity and emerging technologies
  • Create high-impact outputs that help clients make decisions
  • Proactively manage regular interaction, communication, and collaboration with external stakeholders
  • Support business development activity by responding to public sector bids and creating bespoke proposals


Skills/ Experience:

  • Experience working within a tech-driven or innovation setting
  • Analytical, with the ability to think critically and to understand, interpret and articulate complex concepts
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with a good understanding of innovation and collaboration practices
  • Effective planning and prioritisation skills with the ability to keep track of multiple projects
  • Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders, such as startups and corporate clients
  • A team player and motivated self-starter
