A well known social enterprise is looking for a Communications Officer on an interim basis, whilst our client recruits on a permanent basis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Dealing with media, stakeholder and public enquiries coming through press office and logging
- Writing media materials: ie press releases, statements, advisories etc
- Progressing existing coverage opportunities and develop stories at request and guidance of C&C manager
- Writing web news stories
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in pitching to media
- Experience in writing for media
- Experience of dealing with media enquiries, preferably within a press office
- Good team player, with a can-do attitude, hit the ground running
