Communications Officer

A well known social enterprise is looking for a Communications Officer on an interim basis, whilst our client recruits on a permanent basis.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Dealing with media, stakeholder and public enquiries coming through press office and logging
  • Writing media materials: ie press releases, statements, advisories etc
  • Progressing existing coverage opportunities and develop stories at request and guidance of C&C manager
  • Writing web news stories

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in pitching to media
  • Experience in writing for media
  • Experience of dealing with media enquiries, preferably within a press office
  • Good team player, with a can-do attitude, hit the ground running
