£55,000 – £60,000 (pro-rata)

A prestigious client in Gloucester are looking for a HR Director to join an expanding HR team. The successful HR Director will be CIPD qualified and degree educated. Our client wants a HR Director with a sense of humour and a passion for their role!

This is a part-time role, requiring you to work15 hours per week, although additional hours may be required. Your normal working week will include 2 days between Monday and Friday, 9am – 5pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Enable and ensure the delivery of a business focused HR strategy for the business
  • Formulate and deliver exceptional plans aligned with the business strategy
  • Keep the executive team up to date via a set of agreed metrics
  • Provide reliable, consistent and trusted advice on all people issues
  • Ensure best practice implementation across the spectrum of HR activities
  • Develop appropriate reward and remuneration structures to attract and retain employees
  • Develop appropriate employee relations and communication structures
  • Lead an internal consultancy service to the business, diagnosing issues, identifying needs and providing creative solutions in line with business objectives
  • Influence the senior team to ensure that the HR processes are embedded consistently across the business
  • Advise on the development of new policies and initiatives when appropriate
  • Lead the talent agenda – supporting the HR strategy of attracting, selecting, developing, motivating and retaining the best people
  • Build manager competency in the business to ensure they are equipped to handle the talent and performance management agendas
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with business partners and external networking contacts

Skills/ Experience:

  • CIPD qualified
  • Degree educated
  • Experience leading and managing a professional team
  • Experience working in a growing business with significant change
  • Experience building credible relationships at senior level
  • Passionate about HR

  • Commercially minded
