IT Support Technician – 2nd Line

A well established technology client is seeking a new 2nd Line IT Support Technician to join their team. They are looking for an individual who is hungry to learn, has a passion for technology and an analytical mind.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Technical assistance, such as proactive monitoring, problem-solving, and security operations.
  • Assistance with customer projects, including remote and on-site assistance for new installs and deployments.
  • Finishing up planned updates and maintenance.
  • Overseeing and assisting with internal systems.
  • Cooperating closely with the first-line support team to address customer concerns when they become more serious.
  • Manage third-party suppliers.

 

Skills/ Experience:

  • Previous experience in an IT Infrastructure Support role, ideally within a MSP environment.
  • Customer service focused and able to communicate effectively with customers at all levels.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to communicate technical information at all levels.
  • Motivated, positive attitude and comfortable working in a team or alone.
  • Good work ethic and a flexible approach to working hours due to demanding business environment
