Our client seeks a dedicated Qualified Accountant for a 13-month contract. Play a key role in financial excellence, delivering monthly accounts, supporting processing, and actively participating in audits. Beyond technical skills, align with our commitment to ethical business, sustainability, and fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Deliver and prepare monthly management accounts and key financial reports.
- Act as a key support for the Accounts Assistant, managing both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Own year-end accounting processes, preparing for statutory audits, and actively participating in the audit process.
- Collaborate with various departments and the management team, providing valuable financial decision support.
- Efficiently work to deadlines and effectively prioritize workloads, showcasing deadline management skills.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and relationship-building skills essential for successful collaboration.
- Utilize strong IT skills, numerical problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with Excel to contribute to the team.
- Leverage highly organized nature with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Possess a CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification, showcasing commitment to professional excellence.
- Bring valuable experience using an ERP system or financial system with EMS and eCommerce integration.
- Demonstrate previous experience in a retail or similar environment, highlighting industry-specific expertise.
