We are delighted to be recruiting a Credit Control Administrator on behalf of our Gloucester based client who specialises in IT services. The successful Credit Control Administrator will be reporting to the Finance Manager and work alongside the Accounts Assistant to provide support for the sales data input and debt chasing. The role will involve speaking with clients and colleagues so will require excellent communication skills and a methodical approach to data input. To be considered for the role k you must be a fast processor and be self-motivated, as well as able to work from home with occasional meetings at the Gloucester office.

 

The role of Credit Control Administrator will be fast paced and involve full training on products and services. The position has company benefits including private medical and death in service and will provide office equipment to enable remote working. Please note this position is flexible and can accommodate other commitments.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Credit control, debt chasing via telephone and email
  • Raising and processing sales and purchase orders
  • Obtaining information from customers, suppliers and colleagues
  • Bank receipts, payment processing and occasional bank reconciliations
  • Providing cover for the Accounts Assistant when required

 

Experience required:

  • Experience in an accounts processing role is preferred however full extensive training will be provided
  • Good literacy/ numeracy skills and competent with Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with good organisation and time management skills
