Trainee Administrator 

£15,000 – £19,000 



We are working with a growing, independent financial advisor company based in Cheltenham. Specialising in providing financial advice to members of the medical and dental profession, they are seeking a Trainee Administrator to take on administration tasks in the office.

The Trainee Administrator will need to be efficient and conscientious. You will be providing support to independent financial advisors and other admin members, ensuring a high level of service is provided.



  • Answer and direct incoming calls
  • Open, sort and distribute daily post
  • Take post to the Post Office 2-3 times a week
  • Maintain the client database
  • Replenish office supplies
  • General administration – printing, filing, scanning, shredding, and keeping the office in order
  • Issue letters of authority to product providers
  • Correspond with providers across the market to obtain up to date plan information
  • Produce and update client reports
  • Issue emails to clients requesting appointments with their adviser
  • Chase clients for any outstanding documentation


Skills/ Experience:

  • A good eye for detail
  • Competent with I.T systems e.g. Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Good organisational skills
  • Capable of prioritising your workload
  • Confident telephone manner
