Our passionate client is looking for a HR Manager to join them on a full-time, permanent basis. As the HR Manager, you will support and advise the departmental leads, ensuring they have a happy and productive workforce.

A purpose-led charity, with a national and international reputation, this is an exciting opportunity for a HR Manager who has a proven record of accomplishment operating in a HR role.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Advise and support line managers and distribute information on all areas of employee relations
  • Develop and implement rewards packages to attract and retain talent
  • Develop and facilitate custom recruitment and induction programmes to meet core business objectives
  • Ensure legal compliance is met in all HR activities, keeping up to date on UK employment legislation
  • Work with the Director of HR to respond to and resolve complaints
  • Oversee the administration and processing of the monthly payroll for 200+ employees
  • Gather and evaluate market data to measure the organisation’s competitiveness for salary reviews and benefits packages
  • Work with the Director of HR and departmental managers to manage investigations and oversee complex employee relations issues such as redundancy, grievance, and disciplinary cases
  • Support the Director of HR to create and deliver a comprehensive people plan, wellbeing strategy, and recruitment strategy
  • Assists in the development, implementation, and application of new and existing HR policies, procedures, and guidelines that meet the needs of the organisation and promote the company’s culture

 

Skills/ Experience:

  • Previous experience in a HR advisory or similar role
  • Understanding of equality and diversity principals
  • Knowledge and familiarity with the application of employment law in the workplace
  • Experience in policy formulation
  • Previous experience with recruitment processes and best practice guidelines
  • High level of IT literacy including all Microsoft packages
  • Experience in developing and implementing well-being strategies and people plans
  • Car driver with full access to a vehicle and willingness to travel– Essential

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS clearance check.
