Business Development Executive
£22,000 + Commission
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join our well-established client on a full-time basis. As part of the internal sales team, you will take responsibility for driving new business opportunities in core market sectors.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working in B2B sales or customer service. The Business Development Executive will be able to identify new business opportunities, create strategies and develop the business with the sole aim to increase revenue and exceed targets through high standards of customer care.
- Identify potential sales leads
- Research businesses, individuals, and industry trends to identify potential new clients and markets
- Contact potential new clients using phone, email, and social media to gauge interest and plan meetings
- Attend networking opportunities including conferences and industry events
- Pitch business products and services
- Manage customer relationships
- Work closely with the internal sales team and operations to generate and close opportunities
- Monitor your own performance against agreed sales-related targets and KPIs
- Able to communicate at various levels and maintain relationships
- Understand how to use tone and language in conversations with clients
- Have demonstratable success in closing new business or a willingness/interest to develop this skill set
- Be a highly motivated individual who is driven to exceed targets
