As a Finance Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the finance team and ensuring the smooth execution of financial operations. From overseeing company account preparations to handling accounts payable, cashbook maintenance, and ledger account management, your contributions will be at the heart of the team’s success.

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy in processing receipts and payments
• Manage customer nominal code maintenance and reconciliations, adeptly handling adjustment journals
• Process customer PAYE and pension liabilities monthly, ensuring regulatory compliance
• Skilfully manage customer receipts through the workflow system, maintaining precision
• Contribute to the preparation of monthly management accounts and compile data for insightful reports
• Oversee the processing of invoices, credit notes, and supplier statement reconciliations, including payment runs
• Collaborate seamlessly with different teams to resolve queries and foster strong relationships
• Handle general administrative tasks, ensuring efficient email management, scanning, and phone inquiries

Skills/ Experience:

• Profound understanding of financial principles, with a keen grasp of journals, debits, and credits
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, fostering effective teamwork
• Methodical problem-solving approach, showcasing ownership and accountability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Self-motivated and a dedicated team player
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage 200 (desirable, but not essential)
