We’re working with a leading client in Gloucestershire, who work on a global scale. They are seeking a Technical Illustrator to join them on a full-time, permanent basis. The Technical Illustrator will play a key role in supporting the marketing objectives by providing high quality 2D and 3D CAD drawings/illustrations. The Technical Illustrator will provide illustrations for a range of products and industry applications.

The successful Technical Illustrator will work on the creation of marketing content through a variety of digital channels and media outlets. By developing, introducing, and communicating guidelines, the Technical Illustrator will ensure consistency and accuracy in all their work.



  • Manage and maintain an up to date CASSIO 2D and 3DML library through effective internal stakeholder liaison
  • Collaborate with developers, managers, and other stakeholders, clarifying technical issues where necessary
  • Maintain and improve the quality/consistency of technical documentation
  • Provide regular updates throughout projects to the wider team and management
  • Work to briefs provided by stakeholders
  • Review and contribute to resource planning and be accountable for delivering to agreed timescales
  • Active participation in the design studio production meetings 


Skills/ Experience: 

  • Experience in a similar technical role
  • Strong technical drawing skills
  • Prior experience in quality control
  • Excellent software skills across Creo Illustrate, AutoCAD, Autodesk, and Revit
  • Some experience working with Adobe: Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop would be beneficial
  • Pro-active, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines
