Trainee Financial Planner

GB Solutions is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading wealth management groups who are looking for Trainee Financial Planners to join their organisation on a full-time, permanent basis.

This opportunity is a 2-year process of learning and training, including professional financial exams. This will involve 6 months in a classroom environment 3 days per week where you will obtain Cert CII, immediately followed by 6 months out in a practice, progressing to obtaining your diploma in Financial Planning.

The next process will involve 1 year of field-based work and mentorship. At the end of the 2-year process you will graduate and be qualified to practice and become a self-employed Financial Planner and Wealth Manager or join the organisation full time as an employee.

Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of living, travel and accommodation and you will be required to attend classroom training 3 days per week at your allocated location.

Funding can be provided to support, however being financially secure is a requirement to apply. This can be financial support from a spouse, redundancy pay, pension, inheritance, savings etc. This funding will be paid back from fees you will generate once you have completed the initial 6 months and have the Cert CII qualification.

In return you will be offered full support and mentorship to get through your training and exams.

Successful graduates form recent cohorts have come from a wide variety of backgrounds including, financial services, ex-military, car sales, estate agency and professional sports.
