Our clients open a wealth of opportunity for you, some of our biggest clients need a temp in one department or another throughout the year. Temping is a real door-opener and often leads to a permanent role – especially when temping for our major clients.
We are here for you every step of the way
Your consultant is only a phone call or email away. They are here for you from your initial application, right through to when the temp assignment ends. It’s easy for recruitment agencies to assign you to a temp role and then forget about you but that’s not what we do at GB Solutions – we understand just how important and valuable our temps are.

That’s me! I’m here for any questions you may have if your Consultant is on annual leave, or if you have a specific question about our temp process. Before you start you will receive a detailed email explaining where you need to go, the person you need to ask for and the details of your pay. You will send your time-sheet to me each week but if you forget don’t worry – I will always make sure I have chased our temps to ensure they get paid on time!

We take the time to get to know our clients and candidates, a lot of our clients we have worked with for years so we have a great understanding on what type of person they’re looking for and if the role will get you to where you want to be in your career.
There are a lot of candidates that come back to us year after year, which I think is a credit to our team of recruiters. We will always keep temps on our books and contact them when any temp opportunities come up that will suit them best.
You may not be able to get a permanent role in the sector you wish to work in if you have little to no experience. If you’ve worked as a Customer Service consultant for the past 4 years but now want to branch out to HR or maybe Marketing, the likelyhood of you getting a job is low. However, if you temp for a Marketing Agency, or as a HR Admin assistant, then you will gain significant experience which means you will be more likely to get a permanent role in your chosen sector.
Times are hard
With the current pandemic still lingering on, a 2nd lockdown and no real sign of Covid-19 leaving anytime soon, we appreciate just how difficult it is for those who have found themselves out of work or furloughed. Having been furloughed ourselves we understand how it can be lonely, boring and isolating. Temping is a great way to get yourself out there whilst on furlough. Or if you have unfortunately been made redundant, temping is an excellent opportunity to explore different avenues/ventures.
